- Luul Dahir Foundation was established to honor the memory of Luul Dahir, a Somali woman tragically killed in an American airstrike. Her death, and the countless others lost to violence and injustice in Somalia, inspired a movement for justice and change.
- Founded by Luul’s brother (Abubakar Dahir) and a group of passionate activists, the foundation is dedicated to empowering Somalia’s most vulnerable communities. We advocate for human rights, promote peace, and support sustainable development to create a future where all people can live with dignity, freedom, and opportunity.
Our work also unites local groups and organizations, strengthening collective efforts to make a lasting impact. By coming together, we aim to amplify voices, address urgent needs, and build a better, more just Somalia.
